When you delete something in Backvera, it is not removed instantly – there is a short grace period first, so an accidental deletion can be recovered by contacting support.
Grace periods
- Deleting a site or project keeps its data for 30 days before it is permanently removed.
- Deleting a workspace or your account keeps data for 14 days before permanent removal.
- During the grace window you can contact support to recover what was deleted. After it passes, the data is permanently and irreversibly deleted.
Snapshot retention is different
Day to day, snapshots are also pruned according to each site’s retention setting. That is separate from deleting a site or account. See Set how long backups are kept.
