Backvera sends backup alerts, security notices, and client reports by email. A few minutes of setup keeps them landing in the inbox instead of spam.
Who Backvera emails come from
All Backvera email is sent from [email protected]. Client reports show your project’s brand name as the sender, but they are still delivered from backvera.com – so some email clients may show “via backvera.com”. A custom sending domain is not currently supported.
Keep Backvera out of spam
- Add [email protected] to your contacts or safe-senders list.
- Ask your IT team or host to allowlist the backvera.com domain.
- If an expected email is missing, check your spam or junk folder and mark it “not spam”.
- For client reports, ask your client to allowlist backvera.com too, so their branded reports arrive.
If emails suddenly stop
To protect deliverability, Backvera automatically stops emailing an address that hard-bounces or marks a message as spam. If you stopped receiving email after that, contact support to re-enable it. To turn off one type of email, use the unsubscribe link in the message rather than marking it as spam.
Choose which emails you get
You control which events are emailed and where under notifications, and the schedule and recipients for client reports.
