Where are my backups stored?
In the Backvera Cloud, in the region you choose: EU, US, or Oceania. Backups are encrypted before they land and never touch the host they're protecting. On Scale, you can also send copies to your own off-host storage.
Can I restore to a different domain or staging site?
Yes. Restore the whole site, a single file, or one order into a staging or local environment, a new domain, or a brand-new host; media URLs and secrets are rewritten for you.
How does pricing work?
One subscription per site, billed yearly. Start free forever, or pick a paid tier for more frequent backups, storage, and retention. Buy as many site subscriptions as you need and reassign them any time.
Are backups really incremental?
Yes. After the first baseline, only the bytes that changed travel to the Backvera Cloud. A tiny edit doesn't trigger a multi-gigabyte upload, and real-time sync runs continuously rather than once at midnight.
What happens if my host goes down?
Your backups don't go down with it. Every copy lives off-site in the Backvera Cloud, so you can restore to the same host once it recovers, to a different host, or to a fresh server you spun up an hour ago.
Do you offer refunds?
Every paid plan starts with a 7-day trial, no card required. If you're billed and change your mind within 14 days, contact us and we'll refund you in full, no questions asked.
