FAQ

What counts as a "site"?
A "site" is one WordPress install: single hostname, one wp-content, one database. A WordPress Multisite network counts as a single site, no matter how many subsites it runs.
Is there a free tier?
Yes. Free gets weekly backups, 1 GB of storage, 30-day retention, and full-site restore. Good for a personal site or a low-traffic blog. Every workspace also gets a 14-day trial where every site can run on any plan with no card required.
How does buying multiple sites work?
One subscription per site. You can buy any quantity in a single checkout, and the resulting licences sit in your workspace pool, ready to assign to sites whenever you like.
Can I store a copy off-site in my own storage?
Yes, on Business and Scale. You connect a destination you own (S3, S3-compatible, Google Drive, Dropbox, SFTP…) and Backvera writes a secondary copy there in addition to the Backvera Cloud. You hold the credentials; we never touch the storage account beyond what you've scoped for us, and you can revoke access any time.
What happens at storage cap?
We alert you at 80% and again at 100%. Backups keep running; we don't quietly stop protecting your site to enforce a limit. You can prune older restore points, or move to the next tier.
Refund policy?
We don't offer refunds. Instead, every workspace gets a 14-day free trial with no credit card required, so you can run any plan on any site before you pay a cent. Cancel any time after that and the subscription keeps providing access until the end of the current period.
