  • Baseline – a periodic full snapshot that realtime deltas build on.
  • Retention – how long snapshots are kept before automatic pruning.
  • Restore – putting a snapshot back onto the same site.
  • Clone – copying a snapshot to a different destination.
  • Staging – a disposable copy of a site for safe testing.
  • Push-to-live – promoting a staging site over production.
  • Connection key – the secret that pairs your site’s plugin with your account.
  • Inventory – the WordPress version, theme, and plugins recorded with a snapshot.
  • Export destination – storage you control where Backvera mirrors backups.
