About us
Backvera was born out of a simple frustration: when it mattered most, the tools meant to protect WordPress sites kept falling short.
For years, the existing WordPress backup plugins were never quite reliable enough. Some only captured what lived on the server and quietly missed the rest. Others were locked behind a single hosting provider, so the moment you moved, your safety net went with it. None of them inspired the kind of confidence you want from the one thing standing between you and losing everything.
Working for a hosting provider made the gap impossible to ignore. What people actually needed was a backup solution that was genuinely lightweight, could manage many sites from one place, offered staging for quick testing, and restored fast when every minute counted. That is the product Miljenko Rebernišak set out to build, and it is why Backvera exists.
